Component 1 output 1 will consolidate research from previous projects focused on phosphorus ( P) management in high fixing soils. This includes a comprehensive review of phosphorus dynamics, fertiliser formulations, soil sampling methodologies, and crop responses across calcareous and ironstone gravel soils. The review will identify remaining knowledge gaps and inform the design of subsequent components. Component 2 outputs 2, 3 and 4 will apply the distilled insights from component 1 through large scale, regionally tailored paddock scale trials and/or demonstration trials.
