Whitsunday Regional Council is seeking tenders for landscaping and maintenance services for public areas in Shute Harbour, Jubilee Pocket, and Funnel Bay. The contract will be for 12 months with a potential 12-month extension. Tenders must be submitted electronically via VendorPanel by Monday, 20th July 2026, 2:00 PM AEST. The council reserves the right to award the contract in whole or part. Tenderers are responsible for their own site investigations and costs. The evaluation criteria include experience, understanding, resources, local supplier weighting, and pricing.
The tender closing date is Monday, 20th July 2026, at 2:00 PM AEST.
Invoices received by council must contain all correct information for services carried out, and all pricing must be true and correct. The invoice must quote the correct purchase order number and work order number.
Tenders will be evaluated based on relevant experience and key personnel, demonstrated understanding, tenderers resources and availability, local supplier weighting, and pricing schedules.
The contractor must be experienced and qualified, hold a positive construction white card, and possess a chemical spraying accreditation and license (agricultural chemicals distribution control - ACDC operators license).
If KPI targets continue to be breached beyond six months of the contract, council may seek to issue notices under the contract.
Council will not be arranging an inspection of the site. If a tenderer wishes to visit the site, they may do so at their own cost and risk, subject to notifying council in advance and adhering to any conditions advised by council.
Supplier queries must be submitted by Friday, 17th July 2026, 1:00 AM E. South America Standard Time.
Any tenderer who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member, employee, or agent of council will be disqualified.
