Coating Removal Tenders

Tenders must be submitted by 3:00 PM on August 26, 2026.

Tenders will be assessed on the basis of best value for money, considering price, financial capacity, compliance, methodology, organisational capacity, experience, and risk management.

Tenderers must have an accredited WHS management system, attend the mandatory pre-tender meeting and site inspection, and have PCCP Class 5 accreditation.

A mandatory pre-tender meeting and site inspection will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at **** Princes Hwy, Kiah NSW ****.

Failure to attend the mandatory pre-tender meeting and site inspection, or submitting a late tender, may result in disqualification.

Works are expected to commence in 2026 with completion by early 2027.

Payment claims are to be lodged by the 28th day of each month and will be assessed within 10 working days. Payment will be made by EFT. Payment will be made in accordance with the special conditions **** november 2024.

The contractor shall provide to the superintendent the guarantees and warranties as specified in the contract documentation before the certificate of practical completion is issued. Warranties or guarantees shall commence as from the date of practical completion.

Council will award the tender by applying the best value principles, considering professional competence, capacity and experience, price, risk, financial viability, insurances, compliance to contract, and the overall value for money proposition.

Tenderers must demonstrate experience, commitment, and capacity for the delivery of the works. Mandatory compliance criteria include ABN registration, completion of statutory compliances, supplier code of conduct commitment, insurance compliance, satisfactory financial assessment, and compliance with specification.

Liquidated damages of $2,000 per calendar day will be applied for each day practical completion is delayed beyond the date for practical completion.

Site inspections can be arranged by emailing ***@***. *. * will be available by appointment between 7am 3pm from June 30th , 2026 to July 7th, 2026. Attending a site inspection is a mandatory condition of tendering.

The supplier query cutoff is Friday 17th July 2026 at 04:00 am.

Tenders may not be considered if they engage in canvassing or fail to comply with mandatory requirements. Non-conforming tenders may be rejected. Failure to submit required additional information post-tender or attend discussions may result in the tender not being further considered.

The closing date for tender submissions is Thursday, 30 April 2026, at 3:00 PM.

The contract specifies that the contractor shall obtain and ensure the principal has the benefit of warranties or guarantees as specified in the contract or offered by suppliers, including those obtained by or offered to subcontractors.

The contract will be awarded based on a combination of non-priced and priced criteria, including technical assessment (appreciation of project requirements, proposed program, methodology, risk management, experience, sustainability, quality, WHS, environmental management, key personnel, subcontractors) and commercial assessment (lump sum price breakdown, schedule of rates).

Tenderers must comply with the Tendering Guidelines for NSW Local Government. They must also attend the mandatory pretender meeting and site visit. For reservoir lining coating works, tenderers are required to utilize one of the shortlisted pre-approved subcontractors.

A mandatory pretender meeting and site inspection will be held on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, commencing at 10:00 AM at Harrington Reservoir 01, followed by inspections of Wingham Reservoir 03 and Krambach Reservoir 01. Tenderers who do not attend will not be permitted to submit a tender.
