Kyogle Council is seeking tenders for the supply of quarry products for the period of July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with an option to extend. The tender includes the supply of various quarry products such as road base, gabion rock, aggregates, and delivery services. Tenderers must comply with legislative requirements for workplace health and safety, environmental protection, and quality control. Submission of a comprehensive tender package, including safety plans, environmental plans, and quality certifications, is mandatory. Tenders are to be submitted electronically via Kyogle Council's e-tendering portal. The contract will be a schedule of rates contract. Fuel price adjustments may apply. Invoices must be forwarded to ***@***. *. * or PO Box 11, Kyogle NSW ****, and must include contractor details, ABN, date, purchase order number, contract number, council officer name, dates of commencement and completion of works, location of works, description of works, and breakdown of costs excluding GST.
The tender is for the supply of quarry products including the warranty of such works for a period of twelve months from the date of completion of the works.
Tenders will be evaluated using the following criteria: relevant experience including previous record with council, schedule of rates prices, quality assurance, workplace health, safety rehabilitation, environmental management, and referees.
Companies providing services and equipment to council are advised of the necessity for compliance with legislative requirements in the areas of workplace health safety, environmental protection quality control systems. These requirements are now mandatory for contractors providing onsite services to council. To conform with legislation, council is seeking appropriately qualified contractors.
The council may terminate the contract in whole or in part if the tenderer fails to provide service within the time specified, is in breach of any other term of the contract and has failed to remedy such breach, assigns its rights or subcontracts without consent, commits a breach of the council's code of conduct, becomes bankrupt, goes into liquidation, or is convicted of any offences relevant to the discharge of its obligations.
