The City of Holdfast Bay is seeking tenders for the repair of storm-damaged seawalls and associated coastal infrastructure between Glenelg and Brighton. The tender closes on April 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM Adelaide time. Tenderers must submit their responses electronically via the SA Tenders and Contracts website. Key evaluation criteria include the use of recycled materials, customer service, tendered prices, risk assessment, environmental and quality management systems, local economic benefit, and relevant experience. The project completion deadline is June 30, 2026. Tenderers are required to complete various schedules detailing their financial capacity, WHS compliance, environmental and quality systems, local economic benefit, experience, customer service plan, service delivery, value-added services, warranty, risk plan, pricing, and statement of conformity.
The delivery of goods works must be completed by 30 June 2026.
Tenderers must detail any extended warranties offered, including any conditions and/or exclusions outside of the standard twelve (12) month warranty.
In assessing tenders, the council will have regard to, but not necessarily be limited to, the following criteria: use of recycled materials and environmentally sustainable initiatives, customer service experience and capacity, the tendered prices, the level of risk associated with negotiation of an acceptable agreement for goods, environmental management and quality management systems, local economic benefit and social inclusion, details of current and previous relevant experience, staff resources, the provision of any aspect of the goods by subcontractors, timeframe for completion of the goods, current and future agreements/workload and capacity to deliver the goods, warranties and guarantees on the goods, degree of compliance with the requirements set out in this RFT and the tender documents, and such other matters that the council considers relevant.
Each tenderer must, if applicable, be licensed or registered to perform the goods.
The council may conduct a site/industry briefing. The briefing, if conducted, is intended to provide tenderers with background information, and tenderers are not to treat any statements made at the briefing as variations to this RFT.
