This is a Request for Tender (RFT) from Sutherland Shire Council for Lift Maintenance Services. The contract aims to consolidate all lift services under a single supplier to ensure routine inspection, compliance, servicing, and maintenance, promoting consistent performance and uptime. The successful tenderer will be responsible for maintaining all lifts to maximize operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure safe operation at all times. Key requirements include preparing a comprehensive maintenance schedule, responding to breakdowns within specified times (60 minutes for passenger entrapment, 2-4 hours for equipment failure), and maintaining detailed records. The contract duration is an initial term of three years with two optional one-year extensions. Tenderers are required to submit their responses via the VendorPanel portal by Monday, 4th May 2026, at 2:00 PM. An optional site briefing is scheduled for Thursday, 23rd April 2026. The RFT closing date is Monday, 4th May 2026, at 2:00 PM. Council will not accept late submissions.
All callout and ad hoc tax invoices submitted for payment must include the corresponding service dockets directly related to the request.
Tenders will be evaluated on mandatory criteria including completion of modern slavery questionnaire, WHS management system questionnaire, requested insurances, technical capability and prior experience, understanding of the scope of works and methodology, conformity to the RFT, service delivery and responsiveness, company profile, key staff and capacity to complete the work, and proposed contract and term.

An optional site briefing will take place on Thursday, 23rd April 2026, at 9:00 AM. The site briefing will start at the Pavilion Performing Arts Centre Sutherland, then moving to Sutherland Service Centre, Sutherland Shire Council Admin Building and Sutherland Library.
