The Shire of Wiluna is seeking experienced contractors for the Wiluna North Road Resilience Project. The project involves reforming, resheeting, and sealing 4 km of road from SLK 9. 62 to SLK **** activities include hydrological assessments, flood stabilization, erosion control, heavy grading, reforming, resheeting, and pavement sealing. Tenders must be submitted via the VendorPanel portal by 2pm WST on June 8, 2026. Clarification deadline is June 1, 2026. Evaluation will be based on compliance, qualitative, and priced attributes, aiming for value for money. Contractors must demonstrate experience in remote area road building and compliance with legislative requirements, including indigenous heritage. Accommodation may be provided by the Shire at a cost. The contract is expected to commence as agreed, with a completion date to be negotiated.

Invoices for payment shall be submitted to the Principal's representative at the end of each month. Payment will be made within 20 business days of an accepted claim/invoice. This is a fixed price contract, with provisions for escalation related to fuel costs.
The defects liability period is 12 months.
Tenders will be assessed against compliance criteria, qualitative criteria, and a priced attribute. The submission with the highest aggregate score, representing the best value for money, will be considered first for award.
Mandatory requirements include demonstrated experience and competence in similar services, senior-level project management, contract compliance in infrastructure projects, and the capability to mobilize and demobilize a works crew for remote operations. Compliance with legislative requirements, especially indigenous heritage, is also mandatory.
Liquidated damages and bonus for early practical completion are not specified (rate nil).

Tenders may be rejected if not submitted before the deadline, not submitted at the specified place, fail to comply with other requirements, or if the offer form is not completed and signed with all required attachments. Canvassing officials will also result in rejection.
