This is a Request for Tender (RFT) from the District Council of Loxton Waikerie for the supply and installation of solar panels and batteries across five locations. The tender closes on April 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM Adelaide time. A mandatory industry briefing and site visit will be held on April 1, 2026, at 9:30 AM Adelaide time at the Loxton Council Office. The works and services are required to be completed by 31 August 2026, as stated in the tender document.
Tenderers must detail any extended warranties offered, including any conditions and/or exclusions, in addition to the standard twelve (12) month warranty, as specified in Schedule 12.
In assessing tenders, the council will have regard to, but not necessarily be limited to, criteria including use of recycled materials and environmentally sustainable initiatives, experience, capability resources, tendered prices, level of risk, environmental and quality management systems, local economic benefit and social inclusion, methodology, implementation program timelines, technical capability, solution performance sustainability, provision of subcontractors, timeframe for completion, current and future agreements workload and capacity, warranties and guarantees, and degree of compliance.
Tenderers must be licensed or registered to perform the works and services, and must provide details of any licences, accreditations, or membership to relevant industry peak bodies in Schedule 4.
A mandatory industry site briefing session is to be conducted on Wednesday, 1 April 2026, at 9:30 am Adelaide time at the Loxton Council Office, and all other sites will be visited after this. Failure to attend the mandatory briefing session will result in any tenders lodged being deemed as non-conforming.
