The Muswellbrook Shire Council is seeking a contractor for remediation and upgrade works of corrosive chemical storage and dosing infrastructure at three council locations. A mandatory pretender meeting and site inspection will be held on 17122025. The closing time for the tender is 2:00 pm on 23012026. The contract award is expected in early March 2026, with commencement of works in March 2026.

In evaluating tenders, the council may consider factors including, but not limited to: compliance with this rft including the contract, conformance with the following requirements, tendered pricing, schedule of rates, tenderer assumptions and qualifications, and nonprice criteria in priority order with most important listed first: previous performance, experience and capability, performance methodology, capacity and experience of the tenderers proposed team, delivery time, current commitments, demonstrated ability to provide satisfactory quality assurance and insurances, capability of proposed subcontractors and consultants, work health and safety performance, environmental management performance, innovation, modern slavery mitigation maturity and local content.
Tenderers must demonstrate their capacity to manage work health and safety in accordance with the contract by submitting all information required by returnable schedule nonprice work health and safety.
A pretender meeting site inspection tender briefing will be held in accordance with item 0 to: answer tenderer queries concerning the works as applicable and this rft andor allow tenderers to inspect the site.
If a tenderer wishes to clarify any matter concerning this rft, it: must notify the contact person in writing of its request no later than 7 days prior to the closing time and acknowledges and agrees that the councils answer may be issued to all tenderers.
