Mount Alexander Shire Council invites submissions for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a sportsground irrigation system. Quotations must be received by 2:00 pm, Monday, August 31, 2026. A site visit is optional on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10 am. Evaluation is based on a weighted score combining a stage one qualitative assessment and stage two quantitative assessment (VFM). Payment terms are 30 days after superintendent approval. Contractors must comply with Victorian OHS Act and provide required insurance.
Quotations are to be received by council no later than 2. 00pm, monday 31 august 2026.
The payment schedule shall be in accordance with the program set out as follows: payment terms are 30 days after superintendent of works has approved works for payment.
Quotes will be evaluated on the following criteria, but not limited to: stage one qualitative assessment of a weighted score totalling 100.
Contractors are required to submit such information as is necessary to enable the council to assess their ability to carry out the services.
If the contractor fails to reach practical completion by the date for practical completion, the contractor will be immediately indebted to the principal for liquidated damages at the rate stated in the covering page for every day after the date for practical completion to and including the date of practical completion or the date that the contract is terminated, whichever first occurs.

Supply of samples of screenings and turf sand, drainage sand, providing of test results from a nata accredited laboratory allow for up to 2 submissions.
Any submitter seeking information outside the scope of contract or advantage in the quotation process from council officers or councillors will have their quote withdrawn from the evaluation process.
If a dispute or difference between the parties arises in connection with the contract, then either party may deliver by hand a written notice of dispute identifying and providing details of the dispute.
