Pool Maintenance Tenders

Works are anticipated to commence in July 2026 and must be completed by Friday 7 August 2026.

Tamworth Regional Council will pay the supplier within the agreed terms of payment with the supplier. Unless otherwise specified in the purchase order, council agrees to pay the supplier the fees within 30 days of receipt and acceptance of an invoice by council.

The works shall be subject to a 12-month defects liability period. The successful contractor shall provide a minimum five 5 year workmanship warranty covering the coping paver installation.

Submissions will be evaluated against the following criteria: Price 40%, Relevant Experience 25%, Programme 25%, WHS 10%.

Quotations are sought from suitably qualified contractors. Contractors must have experience undertaking similar paving, tiling, coping, pool or comparable construction works and provide relevant licences, qualifications and competencies.

Failure to provide mandatory documentation or information requested as part of this RFQ may result in a submission being excluded from further consideration.

Tenderers must provide information on their business profile, ASIC company extract, insurance coverage, referees, and a business plan. Key personnel must possess pool lifeguard, bronze medallion, working with children blue card, first aid certificate, and pool plant operation qualifications. council is seeking evidence of the qualifications held by each tenderer in part 3 tender response, section 6. 2 copies of qualifications must be attached to the tender.

Failure to declare actual, perceived, or potential conflicts of interest at the time of tender response or later may result in immediate disqualification. failure to do so, at the time of the tender response, or later during the term of the agreement ifcircumstances change, may result in immediate disqualification from the tender process.

Tenders will be assessed based on quoted prices to ascertain the best value for money for Council, considering factors such as demonstrated understanding, organisation experience, individual experience, referee statements, WHS performance, legal and environmental compliance, quality assurance, sustainability, methodology, innovative solutions, prices, reporting, and conformity of tender.

Tenderers are required to be suitably qualified and experienced contractors. They must hold all necessary licenses, qualifications, and certifications, and have a suitably trained and available workforce. Do you hold, and will maintain for the contract term, all licences, qualifications, and certifications required to perform the services, including staff with appropriate aquatic facility and water quality monitoring competencies
