The tender application fee is **** fee units, which equates to AUD 1,****, payable via electronic funds transfer. Rent for the first year of the proposed EPC is also payable, at **** ex GST per subblock.
Tenders are evaluated based on the proposed initial work program (40%), financial capability (15%), technical capability (15%), approach to community and landholder consultation and engagement (10%), compliance with resources legislation (10%), and compliance with health and safety legislation (10%).
Eligible persons include adults, companies, local governments, and educational institutions that the Minister treats as eligible. Tenderers must also inform the department of any matters that may result in disqualification from being granted a resource authority.
Failure to comply with confidentiality requirements may result in the Minister exercising their discretion to refuse to receive, process, or consider the tender. A preferred tenderer's appointment may be revoked if they fail to comply with requirements or do not take reasonable steps to allow an EPC to be granted.
