The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is seeking tenders for civil construction works to improve the Second Creek Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT). The works involve enhancing the hydraulic performance and pollutant capture of the GPT system. Tenders will be evaluated using a weighted point score system that allows price and non-price criteria to be taken into account in the selection of a preferred tenderer. Criteria include use of recycled materials, customer service experience and capacity, tendered prices, risk assessment, environmental and quality management systems, local economic benefit and social inclusion, relevant experience, staff resources, use of subcontractors, timeframe for completion, demonstrated experience, current and future agreements, workload, warranties and guarantees, degree of compliance, insurance, compliance with WHS requirements, and financial resources.
Tenderers must be licensed or registered to perform the services and must inform the council of any circumstances or relationships that will constitute a conflict, or potential, conflict of interest. They must also provide substantial information relating to contractual arrangements for subcontractors if proposed.
A mandatory site briefing will be conducted on 19 March 2026 at 10:00 am at Goss Court, St Peters off Harrow Rd. Attendance at this briefing is a prerequisite to the submission and consideration of a bid.
