Panel contract for the supply and fitting of motor vehicle and truck tyres to police, fire, and emergency services vehicles in Darwin and Alice Springs for 60 months. Tenders close 2:00 PM ACST on Friday, 10 July 2026. Electronic lodgement is available. Part offers are allowed for Darwin or Alice Springs regions. Specific tyre brands are required for certain vehicles. Contractors are responsible for disposal of used tyres. Criminal history checks are mandatory for NT Police facilities.
Common use tyres are to be delivered and fitted within one business day. Specialist tyres are to be delivered and fitted within five business days.
Invoices must be issued at the completion of each individual purchase order and forwarded to NT PF for payment. Payment will be made in accordance with the conditions of contract.
Tenderers must state in the response schedule what warranty/guarantee will be offered for all tyres offered under this tender, e. g. , replacement of faulty tyres.
The assessment criteria weightings are: Price 15%, Past Performance 15%, Local Content 30%, Capacity 15%, Scope Specific 25%, Total 100%.
Contractors must employ persons of good character, suitably qualified, skilled, and experienced. Criminal history checks are required for NT Police facilities.
Failure to inspect the site if required, or failure to be familiar with site rules, will result in the tender being declared ineligible.
