The contractor warrants that it does not, and covenants that it will not engage in any form of modern slavery or in any activity that would constitute modern slavery if it took place in Australia.
The award criteria include value for money based on whole of life cost (30%), capability and capacity (25%), service methodology (25%), environmental and sustainable management (10%), work health and safety (10%), critical assumptions (yn), and modern slavery (yn).
Suppliers must address criteria related to capability and capacity, service methodology, environmental and sustainable management, work health and safety, critical assumptions, and modern slavery.
If the contractor breaches the agreement by failing to perform the services, the council may require the contractor to rectify the breach within 48 hours. Failure to do so may result in the contractor reimbursing the council for costs incurred to rectify the breach.
