Asphalt Supplier Tenders

The deadline for submissions is 10:00 AM AWST on Monday, 3 August 2026.

Payment will be made in accordance with the City of Albany's standard thirty (30) day terms, subject to verification of works completed and presentation of monthly invoices with attached daily work dockets.

A defects liability period of twelve (12) months from the date of practical completion applies to all completed works.

The principal has adopted a best value for money approach, meaning the lowest price will not necessarily be accepted. Offers will be assessed against selection criteria and scored.

Tenderers must address each selection criterion. Failure to provide specified information may result in elimination or a low score. Compliance criteria are assessed on a yes/no basis.

If the reseal shows signs of in excess of 20% surface failure, aggregate stripping, or bleeding within 12 months, the contractor shall carry out remedial works at their own expense if the fault lies with the design or application.

A tender briefing, which includes a site inspection opportunity, will be held on Monday, 13 July 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Mercer Road Depot amenities area. Attendance is not mandatory but is requested.

The supplier query cutoff is Sunday, 26 July 2026, 11:00 PM E. South America Standard Time.

Offers may be rejected if not submitted before the deadline, not submitted at the specified place, or fail to comply with any other requirements of the request. Failure to provide required information by the specified time may result in the offer being treated as non-conforming.
