This is a Request for Tender (RFT) for the provision of drone services by the Port of Townsville. The objective is to provide aerial capability for operational, safety, environmental, and asset management activities. The tender closes on May 11, 2026, at 10 am EST. In submitting a tender, the tenderer warrants that it has all necessary experience, skill and resources to perform its obligations under the draft contract, has not obtained any improper assistance in preparing its tender, its tender does not contain any false or misleading claims or statements, and complies with all applicable laws, has examined and acquainted itself with and satisfied itself concerning the contents of the request for tender, has considered all information that is relevant to the risks, contingencies and other circumstances which could affect its tender and is satisfied as to the accuracy, completeness and sufficiency of its tender, and any assumptions upon which tenderer bases its tender.
The Port is not evaluating offers on the sole criterion of price. The criteria against which the tenderer's offer will be evaluated includes mandatory criteria (insurance compliance, modern day slavery, previous performance and/or referee reports verified, licence requirements) and qualitative criteria (local content within 125km of goods/services being delivered 10%, capability and experience 20%, compliance and regulatory understanding 20%, responsiveness and service levels 20%, price 30%).
