Building Cleaning Tenders

Tenders must be lodged electronically via VendorPanel by Friday, 17th July 2026, 5:00 PM Adelaide time.

Any defects in workmanship or materials identified within a reasonable period are to be rectified by the contractor at no additional cost to council.

Tenders will be evaluated based on customer service and reporting, tendered prices, local economic benefit, relevant experience, organizational structure, resources and capacity, use of subcontractors, value adds, improvements and innovations, and degree of compliance with RFT requirements.

Respondents must be suitably qualified and experienced plumbing contractors and hold appropriate licenses and qualifications for the work being undertaken, such as plumbing and gas fitting licenses.

Failure to attend emergency requests within the required timeframe may be treated as a breach of contract. Council may require corrective action, adjust work allocation, or remove the contractor from the panel if performance falls short.

Tenders lodged by any means other than VendorPanel will not be considered. Failure to contact the nominated contact person prior to the closing date if experiencing submission problems will result in a non-conforming tender. Interfering or attempting to interview or discuss the tender with elected members or employees of the council, other than the nominated contact person, may result in rejection.

Tenders will be evaluated based on value for money, considering specific criteria such as customer service, strategic geographic location, past performance, references, capability to supply and service, quality, social procurement, sustainable procurement, and costing.

Tenderers must be capable of providing all required goods and/or services and comply in full with the conditions set out in the RFT. They must also demonstrate compliance with relevant legislation and healthcare cleaning standards.

Any complaint about the RFT or tendering process must be submitted in writing to the project manager immediately upon the cause of the complaint arising or becoming known to the tenderer.

Tenders lodged after the closing time or in a manner contrary to specifications will be disqualified. Unauthorized communications, improper assistance from NHW employees, and collusive or anti-competitive conduct may also lead to disqualification.
