The tender closing date is Thursday, 11 June 2026, at 2:00 PM Queensland time.

The tender evaluation criteria include a weighting of 70% for Price and 30% for non-price criteria, which encompass purposeful public procurement (local benefits, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses), experience and capability, and methodology and program.

This invitation to tender has a mandatory site visit on Tuesday, 12 May 2026. Tenderers will meet at the Ellis Beach carpark, opposite the Surf Lifesaving at 8 AM. Registration for the site visit is required via email no later than 5:00 PM Thursday, 7 May 2026.

The cut-off for clarification requests is Thursday, 4 June 2026, at 2:00 PM Queensland time.

Tenderers may be disqualified if they fail to meet prequalification requirements, do not attend the mandatory site visit, or fail to demonstrate satisfactory ability against tender evaluation criteria.

The contract commencement date is 1st August 2026, and the contract duration is three years, ending on 31st July 2029, with an option to renew for a further two years. The bid notice states The contract will be for a fixed period of three 3 years, from 1st august 2026 to 31st july 2029, with the option to renew for a further two 2 year period on mutual agreement between council and the contractor.

The public toilet facilities are available for inspection at the tenderer's own reconnaissance. Inspections of the GRC works depot are by arrangement only and available Monday to Friday between 9 am and 12 noon.

The bid notice states products and accessories will be delivered to the locations specified by phs in a purchase order in the shortest possible timeframe. this must not exceed three 3 business days from receipt of order unless otherwise agreed between the respondent and phs.

The bid notice states all products and accessories covered in this its are to be issued with a minimum warranty for twelve 12 months from the delivery date for normal use.

The commencement date is November 2026.
