The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking a provider for maintenance and repair services for perimeter security bollards at Australian Parliament House (APH) in Canberra. The contract is expected to commence no later than July 24, 2026, and conclude three years later, with two one-year extension options. Tenders must be lodged electronically via AusTender before the closing time and date. Industry briefing registration closes March 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM ACT local time. Tenderers' questions close April 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM ACT local time. The industry briefing is scheduled for March 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM ACT local time at APH. The successful tenderer must provide a 24/7 emergency breakdown and repair service. The tenderer must comply with the Commonwealth Supplier Code of Conduct.
The contract is expected to commence no later than 24 July 2026 and conclude three years later.
Payment will be made on a correctly rendered invoice which must include the following items: dps contract numbersap work order detailpurchase order number issued by dps anddps contract managers name.
Tenders will be evaluated to identify the response representing best value for money when evaluated against the criteria set out in: schedule 2, attachment 3 conditions of participation and mandatory requirementsschedule 2, attachment 4 statement of complianceschedule 2, attachment 5 response to evaluation criteriaschedule 2, attachment 7 pricing schedule andthe other attachments in schedule 2.
Tenderers must demonstrate they have sufficient personnel residing in the canberra region act to carry out the required work including responding to emergency repair request within the agreed timeframes 1hour onsite response.
A failure by the supplier to comply with its obligations under any part of this clause will be a material breach of the contract.
Nonmandatory attendance at the industry briefing is recommended, however is not a mandatory requirement for this rft.
