The principal shall pay the amount due to the supplier, if any, including any applicable GST, before the end of the payment period, which is generally 25 business days after receipt of the claim.
The supplier warrants that the services will be fit for the purpose stated in or to be reasonably inferred from the contract, and that any design prepared by the supplier in relation to the work shall be in accordance with the requirements of the contract.
The supplier must have the experience, skills, expertise, resources, and judgement, and hold all necessary competencies, licences, accreditations, qualifications, permits, clearances or other authorisations required to comply with its obligations under the contract.
