The Town of Port Hedland is seeking a contractor for horticulture and irrigation maintenance for Project Leaf along Anderson Street. The project aims to maintain and enhance landscaped areas. Services include weed control, pest and disease control, pruning, vegetation removal and replacement, irrigation testing, and verge maintenance. The contract is for an initial 2-year term, commencing August 7, 2026. Submissions must be lodged online through VendorPanel by June 12, 2026, 3:00 PM WAST. Mandatory site inspections are not scheduled, but potential respondents are encouraged to conduct a personal site visit. The evaluation will be based on a best value for money approach, considering qualitative criteria and pricing. Tenderers must comply with all mandatory and compliance criteria. A regional price preference may be applied.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, 12th June 2026, at 3:00 PM WAST.
The contractor shall obtain and ensure that the principal will have the benefit of all warranties specified in the contract.
The contract may be awarded to a single tenderer who best demonstrates the ability to provide quality products and or services at a competitive price, using a best value for money approach.
Tenderers must demonstrate relevant experience, capacity to deliver, and a demonstrated understanding of the methodology.
There is no mandatory or scheduled site inspection, however, the town encourages all potential respondents to conduct a personal site visit prior to submitting a response.

Responses may be rejected if submitted after the deadline, not submitted at the specified place, or if the tenderer does not submit a completed and signed offer form with all required attachments.
