The contractor must respond to requests for any failure in workmanship within 3 business days, at no further cost to council. The cost of correction of any defect detected during the warranty period shall be met by the contractor.
Submissions will be assessed on the following criteria: tendered prices, past performance of respondent, suitability of technical expertise methodology in the delivery of the service, contractor WHS systems, availability, and local contractor.

Contractors must complete the Contractor WHS Questionnaire (Attachment B) as part of their submission.
Failure to maintain progress in accordance with the approved project schedule, where the delay has not been approved by the principal and is not otherwise permitted under the contract, may constitute a breach of the contract and may result in the application of liquidated damages or other applicable contractual remedies.
There is no mandatory site visit for these works, but requests for a site visit during the tender period are welcome. A site visit would provide an in-depth understanding of the project scope, potential challenges and other site-specific considerations. Requests are to be submitted via the vendor panel question portal.
