Victoria Police is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from registered commercial builders (unlimited) pre-qualified for projects over $25 million. The scope includes the design and construction of a new Wollert Police Station, to be operational by March 2028. Mandatory criteria include registration on the Construction Supplier Register, and specific declarations. The EOI closes on July 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM AEST. Shortlisted respondents will be invited to a Request for Tender (RFT) phase, with RFT release targeted for September 23, 2026.
The EOI closing time is 2:00 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Friday, 24 July 2026. The new police station is intended to be operational by March 2028.
Responses will be evaluated based on relevant project experience (30%), managing project risks and uncertainty (30%), social procurement (10%), design management experience (15%), and capacity over the next 12 months (15%). Mandatory requirements must also be met.
Respondents must be registered commercial builders (unlimited) on the Construction Supplier Register (CSR) and pre-qualified to deliver projects over $25 million. They must also meet other mandatory requirements such as signing a supplier code of conduct commitment letter, deed of confidentiality, and conflict of interest declaration.
Failure to comply with the requirements set out in the EOI may, in Victoria Police's absolute discretion, lead to disqualification from the EOI process.
Disqualification may occur for failure to comply with EOI requirements, unauthorized communication, improper assistance, anticompetitive conduct, or failure to disclose conflicts of interest.
