Works involve decommissioning the existing soil bed system, providing a new odour control facility, fitout and commissioning of a second 5, 500 EP intermittently decanted extended aeration reactor, improvement works to the catchbalance tank, single- stage dosing for phosphorus removal, construction and integration of two new sludge holding tanks, duplication of the existing mechanical sludge dewatering facility, installation of additional sludge conveyors, replacement of the existing UV system with new UV disinfection units, and associated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and civil works.
