Horticulture Supplies Tenders

Payment will be made upon submission of tax invoices by the contractor, in accordance with council's payment policies. payment for services or works will be made by the principal on submission of tax invoices by the contractor

The warranty period for this contract is two years, commencing from the date the tree is planted. the warranty period for this contract is two years. the warranty period commences from the date the tree is planted.

Staff must be suitably trained and qualified, with at least one employee holding a Certificate III Horticulture. at a minimum, the contractor shall provide an employee who is qualified with a certificate iii horticulture

The closing date and time is Monday, 14th September 2026 at 12 noon.

Payments will be made upon presentation of a detailed invoice with appropriate purchase order number in accordance with councils normal accounts payable conditions.

Tenderers will be evaluated against weighted criteria: price 40%, relevant experience and performance history 25%, methodology 15%, capacity and resourcing 15%, and economic, social or environmental considerations or initiatives 5%.

Tenderers must hold the required qualifications and demonstrate experience in the provision of the requested works, preferably in a local government environment.

A nonmandatory site visit is planned for thursday 27 august 2026 at 10am at malvern valley golf course.

Failure to submit all required tender documentation by the closing date and time in vendor panel may result in your tender being marked as noncompliant.

The evaluation criteria and weightings are: capability and experience 20, methodology 20, social and economic factors 20, price 40.
