Goondiwindi Regional Council seeks a qualified electrical contractor to supply, install, test, commission and close out electrical works for the Texas wastewater treatment plant upgrade. Tender closes **** 4?pm. Works must be completed by **** contract, includes WHS compliance, 12?month workmanship warranty, and retention of 10?% of each progress payment. No mandatory site visit, but optional visits allowed.
The works must be completed by 17 December 2027. completion of all components of the works, including commissioning, is required by 17 December 2027.
Progress payments are subject to a 10% retention. a portion of each progress payment, equivalent to 10% of the value of work completed exclusive of GST, shall be retained by council.
12?month workmanship warranty. contractor is responsible to provide 12 months warranty on all workmanship from the date of the practical completion inspection.
Evaluation on price, performance, technical expertise, WHS, availability, local contractor. tendered prices, past performance of respondent, suitability of technical expertise methodology in the delivery of the service, contractor whs systems, availability, and local contractor.
Respondent must have necessary skills and expertise. the respondent is responsible for and warrants that it has: . . . the necessary skills and expertise to be able to competently supply the scope of works.
Liquidated damages for schedule breach. failure to maintain progress in accordance with the approved project schedule may result in the application of liquidated damages or other applicable contractual remedies.
Optional site visit. there is no mandatory site visit for these works but requests for a site visit during the tender period are welcome.

Direct contact disqualifies. any breach of this protocol, including direct contact outside the approved channel, will result in automatic disqualification from the contracting process.
