The contract covers bituminous repairs and minor rehabilitation of existing sealed roads and highways in the Darwin rural region for 36 months. Works include pothole patching, edge break repairs, regulation patching, reconstruction patching, spray sealing, and minor reconstruction. Contractors must use the Konect electronic management system for inspections and defect logging. Pothole inspections are required fortnightly in November and from April to May, and weekly otherwise. Tenders must be lodged electronically or by fax. The contract requires adherence to Indigenous Development Plan principles.
