Geotechnical Fabric Tenders

The tenderer must nominate its proposed contract duration and date for completion in the tender program. Subject to council's acceptance, the agreed date for completion will be recorded in the contract information and will become contractually binding upon award of the contract.

Any tenderer who solicits support for its tender or otherwise seeks to influence the outcome of the tender process may, at council's discretion, be disqualified from any further involvement in this tender process. Tenders received after the closing time and date will not be accepted.

Practical completion is required within six months from the date of contract award. The project timeline states: practical completion: six months from the date of contract award.

Progress claims are submitted to the superintendent with details of work completed, variations, and deductions. The contract states: number each progress claim consecutively and submit to the superintendent a schedule giving the following particulars.

The contractor must guarantee performance for 52 weeks from practical completion. The specification states: the contractor shall guarantee the performance of the works under normal working conditions for a period of fifty two 52 weeks from the date of practical completion.

Tenderers must be suitably qualified contractors. The request states: seeking quotation from suitably qualified contractor to demolish the existing footbridge and then design and construct a new footbridge.

A site visit is required before quoting. The specification states: visit the site of the proposed works before quoting to ascertain the actual extent of the work to be done.
