Tenders are invited for construction and fit out works to convert an existing shed into an engineering workshop at CQUniversity Bundaberg campus. All works must be completed prior to the annual Christmas shutdown commencing on 23 December 2026.
Payment terms are in accordance with the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 (BIF Act).
A twelve (12) month maintenance and warranty of the equipment is required, commencing from practical completion.
The award criteria include acceptance of CQUniversity's proposed agreement terms and conditions (5%), demonstrated capacity and capability (25%), methodology (25%), and price (45%).
Suppliers must be suitably qualified and licenced contractors. They must also hold public liability insurance ($10,000,000), professional indemnity insurance ($1,000,000), and workers compensation insurance. A current builder's licence is required.
