Roadmap to On- Farm Safety Implementation for Australian Grain Growers - A consultancy completed by ORM for GRDC in Nov 2024 reviewed the current landscape surrounding OH& S on Australian grain farms to identify where GRDC can provide high impact investment to steward cultural change in the industry. The report identified diverse barriers to the adoption of safe farm practices and recommended a multi- faceted approach to overcome these barriers. Develop a web based tool embedded on the GRDC website to assist growers at different levels of farm safety implementation to identify where they are on the farm safety adoption pathway and guide them on the next steps in the adoption process. Output 1: Information by February 2026, the successful applicant will have completed a review of the grain industry farm safety landscape and have identified growers decision pathways for implementing farm safety plans on farm. Output 2: Product by December 2026, in consultation with the GRDC digital team and GRDC investment manager, the successful applicant will required to deliver a web based decision support tool. Output 3: Information by June 2027, a review of the decision support tool will have been completed utilising in built analytics.
