Council is seeking tenders for waste management technology, including hardware for fleet vehicles and associated software. The technology aims to improve waste collection operations, optimize routing, manage bins and customer requests, and enhance sustainability. The vendor shall provide ongoing hardware warranty and a standard maintenance schedule for all supplied hardware for the full duration of the contract term.
Tender submissions will be assessed against both commercial (pricing etc. ) and technical (non-price) criteria. Technical criteria include demonstrated capability, risk management, quality management systems, installation feasibility, support services, relevant experience, product/service offering suitability, and environmental/social sustainability. Commercial criteria include supply and installation cost, project delivery cost, and ongoing annual costs.
Tenderers must be appropriately qualified and experienced. Mandatory participation criteria include work, health, and safety compliance, financial and commercial integrity, and completion of all required returnable schedules.
An RFT site inspection is requested if you nominate to use Waverley Council depot as the installation location. The inspection is not mandatory and will be held on Friday, 14th August at 11:00 AM at Waverley Council Depot, 67a Bourke Street, Alexandria **** NSW. Please confirm attendance by Tuesday, 11th August 2026.
