Supply and delivery of one compact street sweeper to Armidale Works Depot, 285 West Mann Street, Armidale, within four weeks of acceptance. Lump sum contract, not subject to rise and fall. Delivery must be within stated time or council may cancel. Payment within 30 days via electronic funds transfer. Tenders must be lodged via Vendor Panel by 5:00pm Friday 16 October 2026. Late tenders not considered. Registration required by 4 March 2027. Council not bound to accept lowest quotation.
The equipment shall be delivered to Armidale Works Depot, 285 West Mann Street Armidale, within four weeks of receipt of acceptance of quotation. Council reserves the right to cancel the order if stated delivery times are not met.
Correctly rendered and verified invoices shall be paid in accordance with local government standard terms of thirty days, unless settlement discounts apply. The council shall pay the contractor by electronic funds transfer.
Warranty and service details are also to be provided as part of the quotation submission.
In addition to price and delivery times the following criteria may be used for assessing offers: safety, value of money, fit for purpose, environmental performance.
It is councils practice to contract only with persons having appropriate financial assets and insurances. A tenderer may be required to provide evidence of their legal status. It is also councils practice to deal with entities that have a registered Australian business number (ABN) and are registered for GST.
Council reserves the right to cancel the order if stated delivery times are not met.
The canvassing of councillors, staff or council representatives could void quotation consideration. Quotations lodged after the specified closing time will be deemed late and may receive no further consideration.
