The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking submissions for specialist conservation services to manage and preserve the Parliament House Art Collections. Services include environmental and materials analysis, conservation advice, review of management plans, training for in-house conservators, and annual reporting on specific collection items like the **** Inspeximus issue of the Magna Carta. The contract term is 12 months with two 12-month extension options. Responses must be lodged electronically via AusTender by 2:00 PM ACT local time on Monday, 13 April 2026. Questions regarding the tender must be submitted by 5:00 PM ACT local time on Wednesday, 25 March 2026. Potential suppliers must comply with the Commonwealth Contract Terms, which are non-negotiable. The ATM closing date is Monday, 13 April 2026, at 2:00 PM ACT local time. Specific delivery dates for project milestones are outlined in the Statement of Requirement, including a project inception meeting within 5 business days of contract commencement, draft condition reports within 10 business days of site inspections, and final condition reports within 5 business days of receiving customer comments.
The bid notice states that if both parties can deliver and receive e-invoices through the Peppol framework, payment will be made within five (5) calendar days after receiving a correctly rendered invoice. In all other circumstances, payment will be made within twenty (20) calendar days after receiving a correctly rendered invoice.
