Mount Isa Water Board (MIWB) is seeking a supplier for SCADA system support, maintenance, and engineering services for its control systems and telemetry infrastructure across multiple operational sites. Services include ongoing operational support, fault diagnosis, incident response, system optimization, preventative maintenance, support for upgrades and integration, cyber security, and engineering advisory. The contract is expected to commence in May 2026 and will involve both remote and onsite services. Suppliers must have demonstrated experience in SCADA systems, industrial automation, and operational technology environments, particularly within utilities or critical infrastructure sectors. MIWB operates a geographically dispersed SCADA and telemetry network supporting critical water supply infrastructure with a mixed-technology architecture. Suppliers must be capable of supporting legacy systems, integrating with existing MIWB systems, operating within MIWB's cyber security and operational technology requirements, and delivering services in remote and operationally constrained environments. All services must adhere to MIWB standards, specifications, and operational procedures.
The Statement of Work indicates that integration activities must be completed in accordance with the agreed implementation schedule or individual project delivery timelines.
The price payable for the software support services, systems integration services, and ICT professional services is specified in Schedule 1 Price and Payment Terms.
The supplier warrants that all ICT professional services performed will be carried out with due care, skill, and diligence by appropriately qualified and experienced personnel, and in accordance with generally accepted industry standards. The warranty period for deliverables provided under ICT professional services will be ninety (90) days from the date of delivery or acceptance by MIWB, whichever occurs later.
Suppliers must be capable of providing a combination of remote support and onsite services, including attendance at MIWB sites in Mount Isa and surrounding areas as required. This request is intended for suppliers with demonstrated experience in SCADA systems, industrial automation, and operational technology environments, particularly within utilities or critical infrastructure sectors.
Where the supplier fails to meet the service levels applicable to the software support services, service credits may apply in accordance with Schedule 8 Service Levels.
