Southern Downs Regional Council is seeking tenders for the supply and installation of protective coating to the inner walls of the old clarifier at Warwick Water Treatment Plant. The objective is to restore the clarifier to optimal condition for service reinstatement. The contract commencement is expected around 27 July 2026, with completion by 28 August 2026. Invoices are to be submitted by the 28th of each month for works done to the 27th. The supplier must comply with Council's procurement, WHS, and employee code of conduct policies. Insurance requirements include public and product liability of $20,000,000 and professional indemnity of $5,000,000.
The time for completion is 28 August 2026.
Invoices may be submitted on the 28th day of each month for works done to the 27th day of the same month. The principal shall pay the amount due to the supplier if any including any applicable gst before the end of the payment period.
The supplier warrants and represents that it has the experience, skills, expertise, resources and judgement, and holds all necessary competencies, licences, accreditations, qualifications, permits, clearances or other authorisations required to comply with its obligations under the contract.
Tenderers must be suitably qualified and experienced for the supply and installation of protective coating.
A pre-start meeting is scheduled for 27 July 2026, 9:00 am at Warwick Water Treatment Plant.
The supplier must not engage in improper conduct, which includes misleading or deceptive conduct, collusive tendering, anti-competitive conduct, or any other unlawful or unethical conduct.
