Gladstone Regional Council (GRC) is seeking qualified mechanical trade service providers for comprehensive maintenance, servicing, and repair of its fleet assets. Services include general mechanical repairs, panel beating, auto glass repair, hydraulic services, auto electrical work, vehicle air conditioning, and small motor repairs. Services will be provided across the GRC area, including Gladstone, Calliope, and Miriam Vale workshops, and field service vehicles. GRC requires external providers to support overflow work. Suppliers must be capable of delivering services across various categories, including light and heavy vehicles, plant, hydraulics, auto electrical, air conditioning, panel beating, automotive glass, and small motor repairs. Personnel must hold relevant trade qualifications and licenses. Site-specific requirements, including inductions and PPE, must be followed. Providers must supply all required parts and consumables unless otherwise specified. Additional repairs exceeding $1,000 require prior GRC approval. A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. Warranty coverage for workmanship and parts is mandatory for a minimum of 12 months. Services may be performed at GRC facilities, supplier premises, or in the field. Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, with potential for out-of-hours work. Providers must comply with environmental and biosecurity requirements, including waste disposal. Contract commencement deliverables include safety and environmental management plans, and completion of inductions and training. Regular progress updates and incident reporting are required. Performance will be measured against KPIs for quality, productivity, cost, and responsiveness. Providers must comply with GRC policies.
The closing date for submissions is Tuesday, 21 July 2026, at 01:00 am E. South America Standard Time.
Providers must warrant all workmanship for a minimum of twelve (12) months from the date of completion and pass through the full benefit of any manufacturer or supplier warranties for parts and components.
Service providers must ensure all personnel performing services are suitably qualified, competent, and experienced, holding relevant trade qualifications, licenses, and competencies applicable to the services being performed.
Prior to commencing services, the service provider must understand and comply with all site-specific requirements communicated by the GRC representative, which may include site inductions.

If the service provider employee or subcontractor fails to maintain required data, complete overdue actions, or complete designated training and inductions, GRC reserves the right to refuse or remove the subject parties from GRC sites.
