Mount Alexander Shire Council is seeking quotations for a Buildings Asset Condition Audit. The audit will cover over 316 buildings, including historical structures, to inform planning and financial sustainability. Quotations close at 2:00 PM on Friday, 26 June 2026, and must be submitted online via the VendorPanel etender site. The evaluation will be based on a combination of qualitative criteria (risk management, response to specification, experience, financial capacity, sustainability) and cost, aiming for the best value for money. The contract will be a fixed-price lump sum.
Quotations must be received by council no later than 2:00 PM, Friday 26 June 2026. Late, faxed or email quotations will not be considered.
The council will make payments to the consultant within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the consultant for the amount owing.
Quotations will be evaluated on a combination of qualitative assessment (risk management, response to specification, experience, qualifications, business/financial capacity, sustainability) and cost, with the aim of achieving the lowest result for the best value for money (VFM = tendered price /Stage one score).
The consultant must provide information on relevant experience, qualifications, training, registrations, and trade associations of the lead consultant and nominated personnel. They must also demonstrate business and financial capacity, including access to resources and labour, and evidence of a quality management system.

Submittingters engaging in collusion, anticompetitive conduct, or soliciting information outside the scope of the contract or advantage in the quotation process from council officers or councillors may have their quote withdrawn from the evaluation process.
