Central Coast Council is seeking tenders for recyclables receival and processing services. The contract is for an initial term of 10 years, with potential extensions, commencing March 1, 2027. Payment will only be made against correctly rendered invoices made in accordance with council requirements, including reference to the correct purchase order number and the requirements of a tax invoice as defined by the Australian Taxation Office.
Council may accept the tender that, having regard to all the circumstances, appears to council to be the most advantageous, or decline to accept any of the tenders. Tenders will be evaluated on the basis of mandatory and weighted criteria, with a minimum technical threshold applied to the weighted non-price criteria.
Tenderers must be suitably qualified and experienced contractors. Mandatory criteria include an accredited Work Health and Safety Management System to AS/NZS ISO 45001:2018, an accredited Quality Management System to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2016, and an accredited Environmental Management System to AS/NZS 14001:2016.

Any tender that does not comply with all the mandatory criteria may at council's discretion be eliminated from consideration. Any tender that does not address each weighted criterion and provide the specified information may be eliminated from the tender evaluation process.
