Tenders are invited for underground drainage pipe relining works at Eucalypt Court and Candlebark Court, Riddells Creek. The scope includes investigation, rehabilitation using trenchless methods (e. g. , CIPP), and commissioning. Tender submissions are via the etender portal, closing on 11 August 2026 at 2:00 PM. Enquiries must be submitted one week prior to closing. Evaluation criteria include price (40%), relevant experience (20%), methodology (20%), compliance with specification (10%), environmental benefit (5%), and social benefit (5%). A defects liability period of 12 months applies.

The contractor warrants on both labour and materials supplied under this contract that where within 12 months of the completion of the works, any defect arises other than from reasonable fair wear and tear in relation to the works performed by the contractor, the contractor shall promptly upon receipt of written notice thereof from the council, at its own cost rectify the defect or reexecute or make good anything not properly performed.

Liquidated damages will apply if works are not completed by the date for practical completion, at a rate of $550 per day, with a waiver in excess of 20% of the contract sum. If the works are not completed by the date for practical completion of the contract, the superintendent shall certify as due and payable to the council, liquidated damages in the amount referenced in item 17 of the schedule, for every day after the end date of the contract, until the works
A tenderer may be disqualified if they directly or indirectly seek to obtain an advantage by canvassing the evaluation panel or council. Engaging in uncompetitive behaviour or practices that deny legitimate business opportunities to other tenderers can also lead to disqualification.
