Tenders are invited for the civil construction of the Caloundra Transport Corridor Upgrade (CTCU). The project involves two sections and multiple work packages, including road duplication, cycle tracks, pedestrian pathways, intersection upgrades, street lighting, landscaping, and drainage works. Respondents are required to price all separable portions, as the intention is to award all portions to a single principal contractor. A non-conforming tender will result from any departure from this requirement. The contractor must hold DTM R prequalification to level R3, A3, and F50. The evaluation criteria for this tender include mandatory criteria (TMR prequalification, WHS, insurances, licences), non-price weighted evaluation criteria (capability and experience, methodology, social and economic factors), and price. The weighting for capability and experience is 15%, methodology is 30%, social and economic factors is 15%, and price is 40%.
The contractor must have and maintain, for the life of the contract, Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) prequalification to prequalification level R3, A3, and F50 to be eligible to provide a tender response and be considered for award of this contract.
An information session will be held onsite on 19 March 2026 at 10 am. Respondents are encouraged to attend the information session to familiarise themselves with the site, project requirements, opportunities and constraints.
Clarifications cutoff for requests for clarification or further information will not be accepted on or after the date that is 3 business days prior to the closing date.
