This is a public tender for the provision of cleaning services for Shire of Murray buildings. The contract term is three years with an option for a two-year extension. Respondents must submit offers via the Vendor Panel portal by Monday, 13 April 2026, 2:00 PM Western Australian Standard Time. The tender document outlines detailed specifications for cleaning services, compliance criteria, qualitative criteria, and pricing information. No mandatory briefing or site inspections are part of this request for tender, but respondents are expected to be aware of building locations. Access to locked and alarmed buildings can be arranged by appointment. The Shire is not obligated to accept the lowest offer and reserves the right to negotiate with preferred respondents.
The closing date and time for submission of offers is Monday, 13 April 2026, 2:00 PM Western Australian Standard Time.
The Shire must pay the contractor within thirty (30) days from the end of the month in which the goods and/or services have been accepted by the Shire, unless otherwise provided in the contract.
The contractor must give or ensure the Shire has the benefit of any warranties in accordance with clause 5. 14.
A contract may be awarded to the respondent whose offer best demonstrates its ability to deliver the goods and/or services to a high standard at a competitive price. The Shire is not bound to accept the lowest offer.
Respondents must ensure that both they and their subcontractors, if applicable, have all the registrations, licences, and/or qualifications required by law to carry out and/or provide the goods and/or services specified in this RFT.
On the third breach of clause **** or clause **** throughout the contract term, a $100 charge will be applied as an offset against any payment due to the contractor, in addition to the cost of any security callout.
No mandatory briefing or site inspections form a part of this request for tender. Respondents are expected to make themselves aware of the location and details of all buildings. Access to locked and alarmed buildings will be made available on request and by appointment during normal business hours.
Where the specification requires the contractor to submit samples to the superintendent, such samples must be submitted in duplicate.
