The closing date and time for offers is 2:00 PM AEST on Wednesday, 6 May 2026.

The supplier warrants that neither it nor its personnel has engaged in, or will engage in, any collusive, anticompetitive or similar conduct in connection with the invitation process, or any SOA subsequently entered into as a result of this invitation process, or any actual or potential contract with any entity for goods and services similar to the goods and services.

Suppliers will be evaluated against criteria including their ability and experience, key personnel, purposeful public procurement outcomes, engagement of staff, ability to respond, other services, and value for money including price.

To be considered for the SOA, suppliers must warrant compliance with the Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct, operate a law practice in Queensland, have key personnel holding a local practising certificate or be an Australian legal practitioner, accept the SOA details and conditions, and comply with insurance requirements.

The closing date for ITO questions and clarifications is 2:00 PM AEST, Wednesday, 29 April 2026.

The approximate total GST exclusive spend for the current arrangement was $515 million.

Suppliers must adhere to the Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct, hold specific insurances, have the capacity and capability to deliver the services, be independently accredited by an appropriately qualified auditor under relevant Australian human services quality standards framework, have implemented all child safe standards, and have at least one publicly accessible, child safe service centre in each service region the offer relates to.

The contract commences on 01 July 2026 or upon contract execution, which ever is later. The term of this contract will be for an initial term of two 2 years with an option for council to extend for a further two 2 year period.

Council will pay the supplier the amount due under an invoice within 30 days after the date of receipt of a correctly rendered invoice.

The supplier warrants that during the warranty period, a product will not be defective, the products are new and have not been previously used, it is entitled to supply the products and that at the time title in a product passes to council, the product is free from all liens, charges and encumbrances of any kind, the products and documentation, and the acts of council or a person authorised by council in relation to the products and documentation, will not infringe the intellectual property rights or moral rights of any person, documentation will be of a reasonable standard, up to date and in english and the products comply with applicable laws.

The buyer is seeking tenders from suitably qualified suppliers to provide their services in relation to the requirements for fire detection and maintenance services products services.

Where the services are not performed in accordance with the service levels during the applicable period of measurement under the contract order, council may issue a notice advising that it wishes to claim the rebate amount calculated in accordance with the contract order.
