Tenders will be assessed against scored evaluation criteria including understanding of and approach to the services, experience and track record, management of changed requirements at short notice, and value added services. Tenderers must meet conditions for participation and minimum content and format requirements. The AEC may exclude tenders that do not comply. conditions for participation: notwithstanding the use of must, shall, will or other mandatory language, no other requirement in this rft is to be treated as a condition for participation.

Tenders may be excluded if they are late, incomplete, do not meet mandatory requirements, contain harmful code, or if the tenderer fails to provide assistance with security, probity, and financial checks. late tenders, incomplete tenders and corrupted files any attempt to lodge a tender after the rft closing time will not be permitted by austender.

The works are to be completed within 20 weeks from the date of contract award.

All payments made under the contract shall be made at Darwin, Northern Territory.

The defects liability period for the works shall be 24 weeks.

Selection of the successful tenderer will be based on a best value for territory assessment with weightings for Price (25%), Past Performance (10%), Local Content (30%), Timeliness (10%), Capacity (10%), and Scope Specific (15%).

Tenderers are required to be accredited or recognised by Contractor Accreditation Limited (CAL) to a rating equal to or higher than the total value of the tender response in the CAL category and group for building demolition.

Liquidated damages for the works shall be $7,**** per week.

A site inspection is encouraged prior to submitting a tender response. Access to the sites will be made available at 2:00 PM on the 23rd of July 2026. Attendance at the site inspection is not mandatory, but registration is required.

Tender responses may be declared inadmissible for assessment if they fail to comply with requirements, if the tenderer has engaged in improper conduct, or if the tenderer is bankrupt or in liquidation.

The closing time for tenders is 4:00 PM Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time on 17th of July 2026.

Tenders will be evaluated based on value for money, considering specific criteria such as customer service, strategic geographic location, past performance, references, capability to supply and service, quality, social procurement, sustainable procurement, and costing.

Tenderers must be capable of providing all required goods and/or services and comply in full with the conditions set out in the RFT. They must also demonstrate compliance with relevant legislation and healthcare cleaning standards.

A briefing session, which is a prerequisite for submission and consideration of a bid, will be held on July 7, 2026, and an additional briefing via Microsoft Teams on July 17, 2026. details to be further confirmed attendance at the briefing is a prerequisite to submission and consideration of a bid.

Any complaint about the RFT or tendering process must be submitted in writing to the project manager immediately upon the cause of the complaint arising or becoming known to the tenderer.

Tenders lodged after the closing time or in a manner contrary to specifications will be disqualified. Unauthorized communications, improper assistance from NHW employees, and collusive or anti-competitive conduct may also lead to disqualification.
